I shot photos for my friend, the orchestra conductor. I sent him two images as a preview. Within a day the magazine requested the hi-res versions for publishing. They were not even interested in the other hundred shots. I expected them to use what I thought was the stronger image, but they went with the wide angle shot since it showed more of the orchestra. It is funny how these things happen when you are not trying. I do have a web site (although not my own domain, yet), but it is mostly family photos and not geared towards marketing my work. My fulltime job is in the travel industry, but now I find most of my time is taken up with photography. Once you have had a few images published, it seems to make it a lot easier for future work.
