For about $2000 you can have this:

And it has a focal length of 2032mm and you can buy a DSLR camera adapter from ScopeTronix for $129.00 and a Canon EOS adapter ring for $18.95.  

...and it works VERY well and you can actually move it without a truck.

I've taken photos with this equipment and it's lots of fun.</description>
