Derek, I can think of two options for our overseas friends:

1) You could email the companies and see if you can make the purchase online using the code or
2) You can do what I do for international calls and use SkypeOut service through Skype, a VOIP service. The international calls cost 10 cents/minute American using their service.

Great show Guys I really enjoy listening to it.

I do have one question though. All these discounts that your guests are offering to listeners, are they all open to us international listeners. I notice that to take advantage of some of them you need to phone a number in the States. This is something that I am not going to do from the UK because the cost of the phone call would probably out weigh the discount I’m going to get! Is there another way I can take advantage of some of the great offers that are available to us listeners of TDPS?

why is it so hard for me to download your podcast? I can’t find a link to an MP3 file. I listen at work, not at home so I need to download the file and take it to work. It seems I am prevented from being a listener and will have to look elselwhere for a photographic podcast.

Hi Mary,

I believe ACDSee is a Windows Only product. I intend to try it out on my Windows machine to familiarize myself with it. It seems like a nice program. I know Scott likes it.

Personally, I am not in love with iPhoto or any other program which insists on managing my photos for me. When you import photos into iPhoto, it actually creates copies of your originals and puts them in to a directory you can’t easily access. I am also not wild about managing imports by “rolls.” It is just not intuitive to me.

The only thing I used iPhoto for was their slide shows, but ever since a great friend introduced me to FotoMagico, I have not touched iPhoto since.

Michael, could you compare ACDSee to IPhoto. After reviewing their website, I can’t see any benefit to their program when compared to IPhoto. What am I missing?
