Love, Jebus!

Talk about a hard topic. I'm going to struggle to enter this one, not so much of it going on at my workspace! (Minesite).

Michael & Scott -
As a new listener after finding your show on Itunes, I wanted to thank you for what you are doing. You help my commute go by faster. I have been an advanced Amateur part time Pro for over 20 years now and moved to digital about 3 years ago with the D100 Nikon, and now with the D200. Primarily Landscape and Stock.

I did want to comment on the color space issue though. Although i basically agree with what the experts say about Adobe RGB over sRGB, and I also read ken Rockwell, a question remains unanswered. If adobe is the flat out best, why to most/all of the online labs like MPIX and others insist on sRGB and not Adobe RGB? In fact some I have seen specifically tell you to convert if you are not in sRGB.

Could make for an interesting podcast dicussion?

  Thanks for the great shows.

Michael & Scott
I am making it a point to write and thank both you guys for such an enjoyable show. I have been (seriously) shooting for the past 4/5 years hoping to break into the professional level of photography. I live in Las Vegas and enjoy plenty of work shooting commercial jobs, however my love is nature and landscape. You both provide me with essential material & information that i find useful on every show. Thats about all. You two ROCK. If you have the opportunity check out the beginer website I just published, I did everything myself and have had quite a few visits. It would mean alot to me to have your guys feedback. www.SteeleExposures.com

Thanks, Brendan Steele

Am very very new to SLR's but to quote Krammer "I am loving every minute of it Jerry". Very excited about the contest, when I started listening I had mist the first contest. But the show was great on what made the pictures nice. Anyway I have Photoshop CS2 but am overwhelmed climbing the mountain. Listner Mike Despot writes of a dvd from Rick Sammon. Where can I get that and is that good for a green horn like myself. Guys your show is very well thought out and easy listning. Keep up the great job.

Have not listen to #36 as yet, but will very soon. Just wanted to say how helpful I have found the DVD from Rick Sammon. I have only been through through three lessons and already have greatly improved my use of Photoshop. I also have downloaded the trial of DXo, have used it on a few photos and am very likely to make a purchase soon.
I am happy to see you have another contest poted, I will be trying to come up with a photo that I will feel good about entering.
Keep it up, love this podcast!
