<description>A useful topic to discuss I think would be different approaches to workflow. I have been using DxO in the following manner to process raw pics from my Nikon D200. I'd love to hear about what others have been doing.

I have been using the settings below routinely in batch processing of the NEF files from my D200 into DNF format and then modifying in ACR and if needed photoshop.

Default Color Preset(DxO Color-check color rendering as shot)

Default Optics Preset(DxO Optics-check Distortion, Chromatic aberration and Vignetting at 100%, check Lateral Chromatic Aberration)

Denoise Preset (DxO Noise check and check Auto)

DxO Lighting Medium Preset--(DxO lighting-check auto settings intensity Medium and Check Fine Settings Auto)

White Balance and Exposure--no good preset, highlight recovery at Light, Raw White Balance As Shot

Sharpness--(no good preset but this can also be accomplished but using the Default_Details setting and unchecking Unsharp Mask) Check DxO Lens Softness with the midline setting (0.00) and Uncheck Unsharp Mask so that further sharpening can be done after all adjustments and resizing are complete.

Once this default is set up the way you want just choose copy under preset and make it into a new preset

What are people's experiences with DxO 4.1 settings?

With the Film Pack there are new options for Color Rendering (choose the profile you want--Velvia has a very strong impact, perhaps too strong? This can be toned down somewhat by switching saturation from As Shot to Medium-Low)
