Bibble is a worthless program - I know that sounds a bit harsh, but without an UNDO feature, what's the point?

I downloaded the trial version - put about 20 minutes of work into one image but couldn't undo the steps. I had to start completely over.

Imagine if you drove 60 miles to your destination, took one wrong turn and had to return home and do the drive all over again...

And do yourself a favour and check out DXO and Bibble. Both are very good Raw converters, and a lot less expensive than Lightroom.

Bibble doesn't look as good, but with Work queues or batch queues can accomplish the workflow control. With the plug-ins and all the other controls, it is more powerful than Lightroom. Version 5 is supposed to have a greatly improved UI as well as a number of other eagerly anticipated enhnancements, but no date yet. They better get version 5 out fast!

DXO is more like Lightroom, but does a lot more. It's lens correction is incredible and it's auto processing is very good too.

I'm just catching up with all of your episodes and have really enjoyed this podcast. I haven't had time yet to figure out how to rate you on iTunes but I will - definitely 5 stars. I'm a novice photographer who upgraded from a Canon A610 to the Canon 30D and love it but I'm a village idiot with respect to all the lenses out there. Do you recommend any good books which explain the basics of photography along with the lenses? Looking forward to the next podcast.

If you are like me and completely new to Lightroom, I highly recommend the Michael Tapes video tutorials that Scott posted above. The others contain tips for those who already have Lightroom on their computer. I have watched 2 of Michael Tapes' videos, and they are a great introduction.
