Mazel Tov Scott !!
We have two adopted children ( now 35 and 34 years old) and one natural child. I can't tell you how much these children mean to us. Being a parent is a special gift. Enjoy the ride and don't forget: "You never stop being a parent"

Hello again,Scott,

Congratulations on the finalization of David's adoption! I'm listening to you describe the exciting events to Michael as I type this. You and your partner are obviously very special people, and Shirley and I wish you and your family well.

Hello Scott,

This is my first time to write you. First of all, congratulations for the new addition to your family. I'm also a foster father of two children. Now they are 26 and 27 years old. This is a very rewarding decision for your family. Keep ahead no matter what.

In relation to your podcast, I find it very interesting. I hear you while I do my daily walk through my neighborhood. In the future I will be participating in your contests.

Congratulations Scott! What a nice way to begin my drive to work yesterday! I had goosebumps listening to you describe the finalization. Perhaps I understand better than most as both my daughters are adopted. He is one lucky kid!

Thanks for jumping into the discussion regarding “camera vs photographer" sadly your agurement was slightly flawed
"that different photographer with the same equipment"
is the same as saying
"the the same photographer with different equipment" will get different results - so QED it's both

Consider - if the camera was set up to take a photo every 3 minutes then you attach it to a dog and let it run around. After the 8 gig card is full up you look at the image - some will be good

Is it the infinite number of monkeys, or is it the infinite number of type-writers

Hello Scott and Michael,

I've been listening to (and saving) your podcasts for a few months now. I really look forward to them because you are doing a terrific job in making the podcast interesting and useful. It comes across very clearly that you are both very good people! One of these days i will get organized and submit a photo to a contest.

By the way, over the past few years I've noticed a tendency to get sleepy while driving on long trips (even had a few close calls!). Since I started listening to your podcasts while on the road, it hasn't been a problem, so maybe you've saved me from driving into a tree or something....who knows.

Anyway, I appreciate your work, your attitude, and your humility. Mere "enthusiasts" indeed!

Best regards,

Ken Jones

Scott, what a fantastic thing to do for your son! What a fantastic thing he will do for you and your partner. I can think of nothing a person can do for another that is greater than adpotion. It is a gift that will be returned to you both for many many years. Not that it is important, but he is a great looking kid.
