Hot Deal: Two Compactflash Cards for the Price of One
July 21, 2007: Calumet has what looks like a great offer on two 2GB Sandisc Ultra II compactflash cards for the price of one - $34.99.
This sounds too good to be true, so I checked some other online vendors, and, sure enough, most had a single card for about that price - or sometimes, even more.
I’m such a I like having some extra cards around, and 2GB is a good size with my Canon 30D. I think I’ll grab this deal while it’s still available. You can find it here:

Let me know if you do, too, or if you know of any better deals.

Ms. Laurel - Amazon’s price is for one card - Calumet is giving two for that price!

I use SD cards rather than compact flash. I clicked the link just in case. SURE ENOUGH! They are also selling SD cards for the same bargain!

The standard resource for technology accessories is Newegg.com and even there, the price is at $35 for a single card. Plus, with a vendor like Sandisk making this offer, it’s a no-brainer. Likely this price drop is to promote their newer cards that write at 45 & 20 MG/s, but since those only support UDMA transfer modes, Canon users cannot see these speeds.

Ooops! I didn’t see that. Now it’s even sweeter. I just ordered the buy one get one free…awesome deal. Thanks for sharing.

Good deal, and that means I do not need to carry my laptop to Amsterdam in August for the 3 days I’m there.
Nice price, almost bought one on a deal in a local shop, saves taxes too. (Need to pay s&h tough)
Now I have a total of 4 2GB cards (its a start)
