Long Live the Queen
August 23, 2007: Laurel, The Queen of All Photo Contests, is entered in one of her own. She wrote the following elsewhere on this page (I’m promoting it to its own post so it gets the attention it deserves):
I am the finalist in the Loews Find Inspiratin Photo Contest: www.lowesfindinspiration.com and I am going to need everyone’s help in voting for my Blue Sanibel Shell from August 28th through September 8th. I am hoping that Scott and Micahel will announce offically on the next show.

Thank you Scott and Michael for posting! I will be reminding everyone AGAIN on August 27th when the voting opens up! If I win, I am actually going to have my family room made up so it’s actually used as …well…a family room. I will keep everyone posted…but pass it on. If I win I will invite EVERYONE to my home in Gainesville, Florida for dinner and a movie!

Laurel - Which colour can we find it under - might be easier to say how many other phoros are in the same category as there seem to be quite a few shades of blue!!!

Click on the browse all photos from http://www.lowesfindinspiration.com - from there go to the third row from the top and then the 3rd color swatch from the right. It is a blue swatch and when you hover your mouse over it, it should say 118 (photos). My blue shell is #70/118
From what I understand, on when they open up the voting on August 27th - they will feature the top 25 finalist so it will stand out more!

Done and done, just put in a vote! Great picture Laurel and great show Michael and Scott. A couple of weeks ago I found this podcast and downloaded all the shows (I’m on show 31) and I feel honored to help out another fan of the show, nice job again Miss Queen.

Sadly, I am not the winner of the Lowes Contest. The winner of the Lowes Find Inspirtatin Photography contest was announced today. The winner was a picture of a stunning red sunset. Not too shabby of a picture to lose to! You can see the picture at http://www.lowesfindinspiration.com
