Hello Guys (Scott - Michael - Lauren),

I'm a late starter with listening to your podcast. I discovered it a few months back and have been cathing up since. I am now only a few weeks away from being caught up. I love the show and have learned quite a lot from all your input and your guests. I have to say Scott Kelby & Rick Sammon are my favorite guests. This show was good as it's nice to hear the real lifesituations and banter as it adds realism to the show making you guys more real and down to earth. I pray Sasha is doing well. The iPhone does look to be a cool toy but I think I'll wait for the second generation. Michael, just remember it's all Scotts' fault. Good job with the addition of Lauren!

God Bless and take care guys.

Scott & Michael,

I was also touched by this episode. It is nice to hear about your lives, it makes the whole podcast much more interesting. Real lives of two photo "enthusiasts". Keep on doing this great show & good luck to Sasha with the recovery.
Forever listener,
George

I read a quote that I think fits your decision to post this podcast: "Be who you are and say what you mean. The people who matter don't mind and the people who mind don't matter." Your show is usually filled with technical and useful information, but your occasional personal anecdotes are what helps make it distinctive and meaningful. Keep it up! Positive energy coming Sasha's way. Oh, one thing . . . I, too, got #58 from iTunes?

Scott,

I just wanted to extend my support.

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to you and Michael discuss photography. But I am glad to see that you have your perspectives in order and realize that there is nothing more important than you sons.

Thanks to both of you for putting out a quality show.

I was really touched by your positive outlook in your current circumstances and I pray that your son recovers successfully. I love listening to your show, and even if you had to take two weeks off to care for your son, it would be well worth it once you come back.
Always listening with a smile,
-Ray

Scott,

I just heard the show I am so sorry to hear about your past week. Best of luck to Sasha and your family. BTW, Sasha looks great with his glasses and why is it that needing the darn things always creeps up through some other medical situation. In my case, I had just broken my wrist when Mom discovered I needed glasses when I was a boy.

You and your son are quite brave. Your last message with the podcast is the best. As I always say, that which does not kill us just makes us stonger. And pressure... Pressure is the force that take a old dull lump of coal and turns it into a beautiful diamond.

Get well soon Sasha and keep strong Scott.

Gary

PS. I almost fell into that iMac trap when I bought my iPod last year and then through the great service at the Genius Bar cemented my love for the folks that work in these fabulous stores. The problem is that by the time I got a 24" iMac equipped the way I wanted, I went down the street to CompUSA I could pick-up a Gateway PC with a more powerful processor, twice as much memory, faster video with more video ram, a terabyte of HD space, and dual 24" monitors for just a very little bit more. Being that I follow the Tim the Tool Man "More Power" Mantra, you know the route I chose.

I just downloaded the show from iTunes this morning (part of my regular list of podcasts that are downloaded automagically). I was disappointed to hear it was show #58, which I had already heard. Not sure what happened. But, normally you guys do a great show. Keep up the good work.

So sorry to hear of your week o' troubles but with your attitude, I'm sure you will survive and prosper. My best to your son for a speedy recovery.

As for the show, I like hearing about the behind-the-scene stuff and will look forward to a 'regular' show next week.

So you almost came over to Apple. I guess there's hope for you. So sorry about your hard drive.

I got the podcast ... the link at the top of the blog page works, it's the one at the bottom that's screwy.

Scott,

I'm sorry to hear about all the trails of the last week or so but I sounds like you have things in perspective and you are making through the tough times.

When everything settles down and gets back to normal I'm going to beat you up about doing regular backups of your computer ... come on Scott, you know better than to go 6 months without backing up.

I hope you are still planning on making it out to the Podcast and New Media Expo... I'm really looking forward to spending some time with you, however I'll understand if you have changed your plans in light of recent developments.

Your friend,

Allen

P.S. Keep the iMac ... play with it, you'll love it.

The show here on this page and also on iTunes is #58, not #68 :(

That's a great shot of Sasha, I'd love to hear the story behind it and you guys chatting about your trying week. I hope the link gets updated soon so I can hear what my buddies are up to.

Take care,

Wow, Scott, sorry to hear about your troubles mate. Glad, though, to hear Sasha's surgery seems to have gone well. He's an amazing kid. Tell him Hunter and Taylor send their love as well and they can't wait to visit.
