		<description>Hi Soctt &#38; Michael,

I normally don't post to blogs but I had to because I had a very fun time at our meetup and enjoyed being with you all! So thank you! It was great meeting both of you as well as meeting the other listeners. Thanks Ian for the first round! That was very generous!!!

Lastly, during dinner I received a phone call from my sister and she informed me that her dear friend had died. If I was in houston at the time I would have went to her home to be with her during her very sad time but I had to take the time to be with her over the phone. So didn't get to enjoy the dinner with everyone and ask questions but will have to do that later.

I use happyfish to receive feeds and I enjoy your show and dialogue! Your debates are good because I can compare and contrast on the various products you're talking about! Keep that going!

		<description>Scott&#38;Michael,

Thanks you for setting up the meet-up! It was a pleasure meeting you and the other listeners.

Got a FREE copy of Nik Software's Viveza, and looking at the website, I can't wait to give it a try. Scott did mention that Color Efex Pro maybe something I would be interested in, but looking at Viveza, it seems like it maybe able to do the same thing. In anycase I can't wait to give them a try.

Ian thanks for the free round of drinks! It's much appreciated.

Also to Scott (listener) thanks for the free tip on using the flash, wide open, shutter @ around 1/16. In the low-light conditions we were in, the show shutter speed basically pulls the ambient light in the background, while the flash illuminates the foreground. This makes sense to me now, but if you didn't show us, I would have never tried it. I'm now playing around with my flash photography which I generaly don't enjoy but your tip makes made start using the 'slow'/'rear curtain' sync features which is basically the same type of effect, and it works great!

Finally to the guys I was speaking to at dinner. The wedding photographer I was talking about is Lito Sy. His website is litosy.com which has a nice Flash presentation. For me his work is inspiring and out of this world. Photographs are absolutely 'dreamy' and you can tell that he's done alot of post-processing, but I believe it just adds to the 'WOW' factor without being overly-cooked. I actually got to see him work at my friends wedding, but unfortunately I wasn't into Photography at the time :( Anyway his versatility is just amazing. His ability to shoot landscape, portrait, macro, photo journalism, ability to pose subjects, and post processing are just top notch. Guess if your a PRO you need to do all these thing. Also he has a signature 'vail' photo which is done on purpose... the bride actually told me he requires her to wear a LONG vail if you hire him.

Again big THANKS to Scott &#38; Michael for the great podcast! Keep up the great work!

<description>It was just a great social interactive gathering. If anyone has the chance in the future to partake in a meet up with Michael and Scott try and make it. They really bent over backwards for their listeners. The were very gracious and generous hosts and the other guests were so nice. I really enjoyed myself and thought that I would share that with all of you. Even though I ride Scott pretty hard through my emails critiquing his 'style' I now feel more understanding of how hard they work to put out the best show they possibly can. Thanks again to Michael and Scott and for myself a special thanks to THINK TANK for their Photo Glass Taxi!</description>

		<description>Hi Scott and Michael,

Thanks for arranging the meetup. It was fun to meet both of you, and the other listeners. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Let me know when you get the Vermont one planned ;) .
