I must say I totally agree with what you had to say about the selectable focus points, I like to select either far right or left and when I upgraded from a Rebel to a 5D I was disappointed to see how close these points were to the center. The low end Rebel was better. That said the improvements of this camera clearly outweigh this weakness. Having gone from APC to full frame I suspect the reason for the loader noise is the larger mirror and you quickly get over it although people do react to it.
