A quick question about show #88
Hey folks, Cameron here from TPN HQ. Apologies for the recent lack of shows, but Scott asked me to pass on to you that as soon as we’ve got the server running reliably again, he and Michael will be back with a new show.
I just wanted to check a couple of things with you.
1. Can anyone see show #88 in iTunes yet? I’m getting conflicting reports. Some people tell me they can, others cannot.
2. For those of you that have downloaded the second version of #88 either manually or via iTunes, is it working for you? Scott and I have both tested version 2 of the file and it works for us in iTunes (that is, it doesn’t die at the 3 minute mark). Just checking.
Thanks again for your support and patience. The new servers should be up and running this week.

88 finally showed up on iTunes and it was glitch free. I had listened to the show previously on the site and I managed to plow through the glitch at about the three minute mark. Hope all is well now.

1.No it is not showing up in iTunes currently. I did briefly get the 3 minute version via iTunes.
2.When I first downloaded it manually it did cut off at the 3 minute mark. I eventually was able to download a full copy several days later. I just tried it again and seems to be working fine.
Best of luck getting this fixed and I look forward to more shows.

Hi Cam,
show 88 still doesn’t work for me on my iPod (it dies at minute 2).
Works ok in iTunes though.

I don’t see the episode in itunes at all. I did get the three minute version, but now that’s gone too.

I don’t get the show through iTunes; I get it through Juice and it’s not showing up there at all. Not even the three-minute version.

Hmmm… so a few of you can see it in iTunes and rest can’t.
May I ask one of you who CAN’T see it to delete the feed in iTunes and re-subscribe (itpc://digiphoto.thepodcastnetwork.com/feed/) and see if that fixes it?

The iTunes Canada store still only shows up to episode 87….

I checked tonight and didn’t see #88. I ended up downloading it from here.

No Episode #88 shows up in iTunes at all. I canceled and resubscribed, and it is now downloading #87, without the option to get #88.

strange thing happening with episode 88…
at home my itunes still doesn’t recognize the new episode and does not download it.
at work the episode has already been downloaded….

I have unsubscribed and re-subscribed and and still no episode 88. However 87 is dl’ing again. Good luck in getting thing fixed. Like everyone else I’m patiently waiting for Scott and Michael to return.

I had 88 and it died around the 2 minute mark. re-downloaded and the same thing happened. I skipped past the point of stoppage using the slider and was able to listen to the rest of the show starting at around 2:30. At this time, 88 does not appear on iTunes

No #88 in iTunes(Windows) as of this morning, downloaded file “tpn_digiphoto_20080406_088.mp3″ plays just fine all the way through.

Cameron, I just tried deleting and resubscribing — unfortunately the automatic “latest episode” was #87.
May I just say, I don’t usually take time to reply in forums like this, but Scott and Michael’s podcast is exceptional, worth it, and very much missed. Hope things get smoothed out soon, and tell Scott not to spend too much time apologizing for the delay, if possible. :-) Cheers! Mike

Okay thanks folks! Looks like some people can see it, other can’t. Which is W E I R D.
Anyway, the new servers are now up and running and we should be able to nail any last remaining issues pretty quickly. Getting DPS back up and running is my #1 priority and I’ll throw everything I have at it over the next 24 hours. Thanks again for your patience!
