Hi guys,
I really enjoyed the show. It got me back to Scott’s webpage and over to see Joe McNally’s Blog. Both great places to visit. I have both of Scott’s books you talked about, I have enjoyed them both. As you said on the show, they are books that you can pick and read from any part of them and learn something. Great books.
I enjoyed hearing from Scott, his added insight to the book were great. I would love to see him back talking about more parts of his books. Thank you for getting him on the show.
I have only looked at the first page of Joe’s blog, the pictures are amazing. When I get a few minutes I will go back and read what I can. I plan of looking in to his book, it sounds like a must have.
Thanks again guys for a great show I look forward to your next one.

Hi Guys!
FYI, itunes will not let me get ep. 91. I’ve been trying periodically throughout the day.
Is there an alternative to itunes, besides sitting at my desk and streaming the show?
I absolutely love your show and especially love listening while driving, so I’m hoping there’s a way to get you two onto my ipod.
Cheers!

Show #91 stopped at the 21 minute mark off of iTunes. The sound was much better though ( just trying to look for something positive to say for a change).
“TPN technology managed and supported by XMinds” - How embarrassing. Do you have to stay with these idiots or can you move the DPS show elsewhere?
June 11th, 2008 at 1:00 am
Hey folks, Cameron from TPN here.
Mike - can you please tell me what happens when you try to download with iTunes? I just tried it and the show came down fine. I know there was a problem with the link in Scott’s post when it first went up, but I fixed it 24 hours ago. Btw, you can also manually play or download the show from the links at the bottom of the post.
Michael Cortina - Xminds are our new technical team and they have been doing an amazing job for us over the last 8 weeks. Calling them idiots isn’t fair. The site has a few minor bugs but I’m not aware of any major problems at the moment. We’re all working our butts off, for free, to provide you with free content. If you continue to have issues downloading the show, feel free to drop me a line at cameron@thepodcastnetwork.com and I’ll work with you to get it sorted out. That goes for everyone, of course.

it’s not downloading with juice either.
June 11th, 2008 at 9:59 am
Paul, what happens with Juice? Just a timeout? Even if you refresh it? Please email me details if you can - cameron@thepodcastnetwork.com
thanks

Great episode guys. I enjoyed Scott^2 so much that I went out and bought the Digital Photography Book and Vol 2, also!
On the technical side, my download came down fine, but the audio level on the file I downloaded from iTunes was so low that I had to turn the car radio (I play the iPod through the radio wirelessly) all the way up. Of course, that accentuated all the normally undetectable hisses and pops.
Also, the RSS feed that I get for the blog / show posts is not updating. I may have to reset that and see if it works then.

Changing the subject back from technical issues on download quality when the show is available, I think there is no doubt that the show itself is of superior quality in terms of the content, and that is what we should be addressing here If there are technical issues, these should be addressed in a courteous and professional manner. When we noticed on the last show that Scott had a bit of an echo, there was a pleasant and courteous exchange of information among fellow enthusiasts. Just my two cents.
Getting back to feedback on the current show, I noticed that Michael was a little louder than the rest of the production - perhaps you could do some noise leveling in Garage Band prior to publication? I hear there’s a good Mac book on the market by someone named Scott Kelby, perhaps you’ve heard of him? :)
Seriously, there was a bit of an audio difference, but it wasn’t too distracting. It’s always fun to hear you two Scott’s chat back and foth, we can tell you are both truly passionate about photography. Even though I personally feel like Scott K.s books are more directed toward newcomers, there’s always bits and pieces available for any audience. (I didn’t know about light meters below the chin.) Great podcast though - good to have y’all back again! :)

Hey Guys!
Great show. I loved the extensive interview with Mr. Kelby. I have learned so much from NAPP and KelbyTraining.com - a great resource for the digital photographer. Let’s get a contest going soon. Hope everyone is having a great summer and keepin cool and dry!
Cheers,
Laurel

It is June 11th and I finally got to hear the entire show from my iPod today. It was a terrific show as Scott Kelby is a tremendously interesting and colorful character. As I sit here in my office I can count (7) seven books by the prolific Scott Kelby. I don’t know how he does it but he does it very well. On the topic of books - I have yet to purchase Scott Sherman’s book but I may wait for the movie!
As to Cameron Rielly - you have a good show here. I hope the problems can be rectified. If it is true that they will try to have another show out on time (holding breath) we’ll see what happens!

Hey Guys,
I just started listening about a month ago and am still trying to get through all 91 episodes. It really passes the time driving to and from work. I look forward to each new episode.
Thanks

Great show and interview with Scott Kelby. I have been very impressed with how kind he is to others and how willing he is to share all of his knowledge with everyone under the planet.

During the past month I got bombed with every past episode using Juice. It was OK, because I did get show #90. Now show #91 is stuck. It sees the feed and attempts to download every night, but never actually starts. I put a Juice screenshot here - http://home.comcast.net/~phugger/pictures/juice.jpg

Hi guy’s, a brand new listener here from down under! I’m new to DSLR photography [got the 40D back in late February] and am constantly scanning the internet to find more info. Found The DP Show and quickly downloaded a few episodes onto my Nokia N95 and listened to them on a train trip I took from Newcastle to Sydney a few days back. Absolutely fantastic - got right into the episodes and the 3 hour train trip seemed like half an hour! You’ve found a regular here, that’s for sure; off now to get some of the earlier episodes! Keep up the great work …

Are you kidding me? We better get a four hour show with free iMacs for every listener. Don’t tell me there is not one gay Mac genius in Scott’s area to help Scott record another podcast on his new computer. After all the accolades you drag your feet on producing the next show with the promise to your fans of being punctual. Maybe this is Michael’s fault too, but my name is Michael so I won’t bag on him. Good luck guys…

It’s 3 months on the day since I found DPS, via the interview with Erin Manning at http://www.thecandidframe.com and I have now listened through all your 90 shows!
It’s been a fun and informative journey through time :-)
Please continue to publish new shows daily, or at least weekly, or you will have to give me advice on how to handle my withdrawal symptoms :-)
June 25th, 2008 at 3:28 am
Sorry guys but I have listened to all of your podcasts since day one . I am now fed up of being kept waiting for the next show , I am now going to listen to the This week in photography podcast instead.

Scott has published a book!
I’ll read it whenever I feel like getting around to it. GET IT?
When’s the sequel in 20 years?
Michael - it’s time to find a new partner (how ironic).

Hi guys, you’ve created a huge community around your podcast, I know I’m really missing my weekly fix of gear and art! If there’s a problem, why don’t you share what you can with us and see if we can help. Whatever the issues are, trust us.
June 26th, 2008 at 3:01 pm
I’ve been listening to your podcast for several months now, starting at episode #1. I’m caught up to episode #71, so far.
Listening to your podcast has inspired me to start my own business as a photographer. I’ve purchased DxO Optics Pro V5, even though they did NOT honor the discount. I run CS3 on my Win XP laptop, following many of the tips you and your guests have recommended, with great success on the editing of my photos. (BTW, Nikon D80 shooter here!)
Since my CURRENT client lists are race car drivers, fans and pit crews, all of the photos on my smugmug site are geared toward them. Hopefully that will change soon.
You’ve had a dry spell on your podcasts lately, and even though I’m not completely caught up, I miss seeing your updates… Having said that, GET YOUR BUTTS IN GEAR AND GET MORE OUT THERE!!! :) Your fans miss you!

Hi…just finished listening to #91 late last week. Great show, and Scott Kelby is an excellent guest. He’s very knowledgeable and explains things in an easy-to-understand way. He’s also very passionate about the art, and about helping people learn more. Like other people who posted replies, I ran right out and got a copy of Scott’s Digital Photography Book volume 2 (already had vol 1!). GREAT book…recommend it highly!
